Clare has over 14 years experience working with individuals & organisations to maximise capability & effectiveness. She has held senior leadership positions in Australia, Singapore & London, and has worked extensively throughout Australia, Asia & Europe on consulting projects implementing people & organisational development strategies.
Clare co-founded a specialist HR consultancy business, Performance Insights, providing high value talent and leadership consulting interventions to clients who are seeking high levels of expertise, creativity, credibility and professionalism. Performance Insights’ consultancy services assist clients to assess, benchmark and develop individual and organisational capability and effectiveness. The Performance Insights product business provides insight tools to assist organisations to realize their commercial and strategic objectives by ensuring that they have the right people focusing on the right activities in business critical roles.
Prior to launching Performance Insights, Clare was the Head, Global Learning Services & Human Capital Metrics at Macquarie Bank. In this role she was responsible for Macquarie’s global training & development initiatives as well as for human capital engagement & reporting, working with the Board and Executive Leadership Team to track & monitor human capital activity, trends & satisfaction.
Prior to this Clare ran a people consultancy in Singapore, Conscious Evolution, again working with organisations to identify, select & grow their human capital.
Clare has a strong background in assessment & development consultancy, working with SHL Group for over 8 years in Australia, SE Asia and the UK. Roles in SHL included Eastern Regional Manager, (SHL Australia), Managing Director – SHL SE Asia, Commercial Director – Consulting (SHL UK) & Project Champion Director (SHL Head Office).
In both corporate & consulting roles Clare has had people & business management responsibility, with accountability for talent management & development, budgets & revenue generation. As such, she understands the challenges faced by many managers & leaders, & can apply this experience across a range of different industries & cultures.
Clare has worked with local & international client organisations across most industries, especially banking & finance, professional services, FMCGs, pharmaceutical, and the public sector. She has worked across all levels from entrance through to Executive & Board roles, & now focuses on executive & middle management populations, with a keen interest in helping individuals develop & transition into leadership roles. Her key areas of specialisation are leadership development, training design & delivery, competency development & implementation, executive assessments for selection & development purposes, assessment & development centre design, delivery & implementation, coaching & facilitation.
Clare has a Masters in Applied Psychology (University of New South Wales), a Bachelor of Science (Psychology Honours) (Newcastle University) & a Bachelor of Economics (Social Sciences) (Sydney University). She is currently completing a Masters of Business Administration at Manchester Business School. She has a young child & enjoys spending time with her family, friends & pets. She is an avid reader, is passionate about travelling & exploring new cultures, & loves being outdoors & keeping fit.
